Q: Steak recipes?
Can anyone share some good NY Strip Steak recipes with me that I can use on an indoor stovetop griddle pan. Preferably something that doesn't need to be marinated for hours because I am already at work and won't be home till 5. Thank you kindly and in advance!
A: there is only one way to deal with a beef steak.
Salt And Pepper is all you need....
Q: Any good swordfish steak recipes out there?
I have a swordfish steak that I want to cook. I've never done swordfish before, so any good ideas? I don't have a grill, so no grilling recipes please.
A: I love this recipe!
In a pot boil 2 cups of water with 3 chicken bullion cubes and 1 tbsp of soy sauce. Add 2 cups of minute rice cover and turn off heat.
In a seperate bowl mix 1 small white onion (finely chopped), 1 small can of black chopped olives, 1 container grape tomatoes (each tomato cut in half), 2tbsp olive oil (must be fine quality), 1 container of crumbled feta cheese, and the juice from 1 lemon.
Take your swordfish and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides. Place to the side.
Next, in a skillet heat 2tbsp of your favorite olive oil (make sure it is quality!!!) Flash fry the swordfish for 2 minutes flip and flash fry the other side then takeoff of the oven. Swordfish can be served partially raw if it is good fish.
To serve:
Place rice on a dish, top with swordfish, squeeze fresh lemon juice on top of that. Then garnish with your tomato, onion, feta and olive mixture.
Enjoy!!!

A: trust this. Slice the middle of the steak (not all the way open), but just so it creates a medium sized "pocket" if you will. Either stuff Glazed garlic or just fresh garlic inside the middle of the steak ( i hope you enjoy garlic) the juices from the steak and the aroma / flavor from the garlic will translute throughout the steak...and plz do not flip the steak over more then 2 times. that juice makes it. enjoy (salt, bit of crushed red pepper, and anything else you want on top)

Q: Does anyone have any good steak Recipes?
I want to make steak for dinner tonight but I have no clue where to begin. It would be great if it could be kind of a quick recipe, I don't have time for Marinades as much as I would love to. I'm thinking that I'm just going to fry it on the stove with some green peppers and onions but I want to spice it up a bit. Maybe, add some cajun seasonings? I just don't know!
Any good recipes?
A: I could give you all kinds of recipes from the recipe websites...but you could pull those up yourself. Here's a method to making a good steak.
I'll tell you what I do - method wise.
There are two keys to cooking a good steak - and both are the same! LOL - the trick is to let the meat rest before and after you cook it! I'll explain.
I pull the steak out of the fridge and season it with whatever I feel like putting on it. I let the steak rest at room temperature so that when I start cooking it (either grilling it, Broiling, frying, etc) I dont shock the meat. I like my steak medium rare so I usually do about 4 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness of the steak) then I pull it off the heat and let it rest. At least 5 minutes resting time once it is cooked - this allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat. If you don't let it rest...You get one juicy bite and all the rest will be dried out... It's pretty simple if you remember these things. Bon Appetit!
Q: do you know any good kangaroo steak recipes?
i need to do a cooking demonstration, using a kangaroo steak recipe. does anybody know any good ones?
A: Poor roos my aunt fanny. People make me laugh...they happily eat lamb, beef and pork but have a cow if you eat roo....puleez. Anyway that said, just cook your steak like you would beef, mabye add some mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes or fries. A salad to go with it would be good too. Or you can slice it into strips and stir fry it with vegetables.
Q: Chicken Fried Steak Recipes?
I want to try making chicken fried steak, but since I have never made it I would like a recipe from someone who has. I want a recipe that has been tried before, not one just from a website. I have looked at the websites, I want someones personal recipe. And please don't give me a website address, I know all the recipe sites. Thanks in advance for your help.
A: take your steaks and coat them in flour , then dip them in milk, then in flour again then in egg then in flour and fry them , make sure to season your flour with salt and pepper. this recipe is delicious my mother has made this for over 20 years and we always want more.!!

I would like the sauce be salty & slightly creamy. I'm from Malaysia & most of the steak recipes I looked online use some ingredient that are not available in local market.
A: I have a simple recipe. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
Place on prepared pan and broil for 3-4 minutes per side for medium rare or until internal temperature reads 130 degrees on an instant-read thermometer.
*Note: Allow to rest for 5 minutes

Q: Steak Recipes without a grill?
so tommorow is out anniversary and wev'e decided on steak we have no grill. Any really good Recipes
A: You don't need a grill. Find the recipe you want to use if you want a marinade and use the marinade, then cook in a hot skillet for the same amount of time the recipe calls for on the grill. Better yet, learn how to judge the doneness by feeling. http://www.exploratorium.edu/cooking/meat/activity-fingertest.html
Don't cook slowly, you'll just steam it.
Q: New steak recipes for the grill?
We love steak! But, we are tired of just spices. We want something different for dinner tonight, so anything you have would be appreciated. Best and most creative mouth watering steak gets the points!
A: You can substitute for whatever steak you have on hand, also cheese if it calls for it.

Q: Chicken or Steak Recipes?
Anyone have any new chicken or steak recipes? I'm getting tired of making the same thing all the time.
A: Japnese Steak
Ingredients
2 zucchinis
4 small red or brown onions
1 red capsicum
125 g/41⁄2 oz snow peas
125 g/41⁄2 oz baby corn
vegetable oil, for deep-frying
125 g/41⁄2 oz cornflour
75 g/3 oz plain flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon mustard powder
2 teaspoons semolina
1 teaspoon salt
1. In a shallow dish, mix together soy sauce and sherry. Add steaks and turn until well coated. Marinate for 10 minutes. Remove steaks. Pat dry on paper towel. Reserve marinade.
2. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok. Fry steaks over a high heat for 2 minutes on each side, or until well browned. Add ginger and sugar to marinade. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add to pan or wok. Cook for a further 5–6 minutes for medium steaks.
Remove steaks using a slotted spoon. Cut into thin slices. Arrange on serving plates. Garnish with spring onions and carrot. Serve with sauce.
In step 2, adjust the cooking time for the steaks according to your taste. Cook for 3–4 minutes for rare, 5–6 minutes for medium and 10 minutes for well done.
You can replace the sherry with sweet dessert wine or Japanese rice wine. For a non-alcoholic alternative, use grape or apple juice to make the marinade.
Q: Any delicious steak sauce recipes?
Getting a bit bored of stilton or peppercorn sauce on my steak, anyone got any recipes for some different delicious sauces? Cheers.
A: How about a mustard sauce.... a little different.
Make a basic white sauce:
1/2oz butter
1/2oz plain flour
1/2 pint milk
Melt butter in a saucepan, then stir in flour and mix till combined, gently add the milk in small quantities, stirring all the time, when all milk added, continue to stir till comes to the boil, simmer for 3-4 minutes till thick, stirring occassionally.
Add 2tsp dry mustard mixed with 2tsp vinegar, stir in well and serve.
*******************
Or mushroom sauce.
Make basic white sauce as above, but instead of adding mustard, add 3oz of mushrooms, previously chopped and fried off in butter
**********************
Bernaise Sauce - slightly more difficult
2tbsp tarragon wine vinegar
3 tbsp wine vingar
1 tbsp finely chopped onion
2 egg yolks
2 tsp cold water
4 oz butter, softened
salt & pepper
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Put both vinegar and onion into a pan, boil gently until liquid is reduced by about a third.
Leave until cold and strain, keeping liquid.
Put egg yolks, reduced vinegar liquid and water into a double saucepan (or basin standing on pan of simmering water). Whisk until thick and fluffy.
Gradually add butter, a tiny piece at a time. Continue whisking until each piece has been absorbed and the sauce has thickened.
Season to taste and stir in parsley.
***************
Hope this keeps you going for a while.

Atkins Chili Recipe
Ingredients
• 1 Tablespoon olive oil
• 1 large chopped onion
• 6 large garlic cloves, minced
• 2 medium jalapenos, minced
• 2 lbs ground sirloin
• 2-4 Tablespoons chili powder (adjust according to personal taste)
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• pepper to taste
• 1 16oz can diced tomatoes (make sure no sugar added)
• 2 cups chicken broth (again no sugar added)
Directions
Heat oil in heavy saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic. Saute about 8 minutes or until onions are translucent. Add ground sirloin and cook until brown, breaking up meat with a spatula as it cooks. Add chili powder, salt, pepper, and jalapenos to the meat and onions. Stir in died tomatoes and chicken broth.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 1 and a half hours.

Q: flank steak recipes from experience?
hi, i bought a flank steak on sale, but actually don't have any ideas what to do with it... i thought about making a german style roulade, but then looking for recipes i found cooking times anywhere from 10 min to 2 hours, i don't want to ruin the meat, have you cooked with flank steak before? what's the tenderness, cooking time and maybe a recipe for something stuffed flanksteak. thx in advance :)
A: Flank steak can be tricky. Marinades always help.
Long braising German style will work fine, you won't ruin it.
I like to marinate it in citrus and red wine coat it with mexican fahita seasoning and fry it in a cast iron pan, and serve fajitas with it.
