Okay so every year I always make a special dinner (different from all those other dinners every other day). Any ideas on some great recipes?? excuse the spelling. im sorry. i wrote that quick and can't spell apperiently when I type fast. should have checked the spelling. sorry.

A: Creamed Chicken in Patty Shells - tasty creamed chicken makes a wonderful main dish, and when you add extra vegetables, it becomes an entire meal. The recipe might look long, but it's well worth the effort. INGREDIENTS 1 broiler/fryer chicken (3 to 4 pounds), cut up 2 quarts water 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper, divided 2 (10 ounce) packages puff pastry shells 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms 1 medium green pepper, chopped 1/2 cup small fresh broccoli florets 5 tablespoons butter or margarine 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 cups milk 1 (2 ounce) jar diced pimientos, drained 1/4 teaspoon paprika DIRECTIONS In a large kettle, bring the chicken, water, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken from broth; cool. Remove meat from bones; cut into cubes and set aside. Discard skin and bones. Drain broth and skim fat; set aside 1 cup broth (refrigerate remaining broth for another use). Bake pastry shells according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, saute the mushrooms, green pepper and broccoli in butter until tender; sprinkle with flour. Gradually stir in milk and reserved broth until blended. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add the pimientos, paprika, reserved chicken and remaining salt and pepper. Cook and stir until heated through. Spoon into pastry shells

Q: Can anoyone recommend a good recipe for a Valentines Day Dinner???
My husband and I are really on a shoestring budget right now and it is looking more and more like we will have to do Valentines Dinner at home. In the past we have always opted to go out for V-Day (partly because neither one of us wants to get stuck with a pile of dishes on Valentines Day)... Anway, I am wondering if anyone has any great ideas/recipes for a Valentine's Dinner...The ingredients would have to be something not to expensive also... Any positive input appreciated!!! P.S.- I am a pretty good cook when I have the time, so it doesn't have to be too simple...I'm just looking for something interesting and different than a regular weeknight's meal.

A: There is a recipe on foodnetwork called grilled new york strip steak with chocolate merlot sauce. Its what I'm making for my hubby. You don't have to buy a really expensive wine just one that you would enjoy drinking. Hope I helped.

Q: I need a yummy valentines day dinner recipe, w/ chicken? not hard to make?
I need it to be inexpensive, totally delish and not to to hard to make. good with potatoes or something easy as side dish. shake n' bake sounds tempting, but will it look cheesy? i dont want to look tacky. I am aiming for romantic. will it look like mcdonalds chicken? I am going with the angel chicken dish. Thanx! sound excellent! i will tell you how they liked it!

A: Angel Chicken Pasta 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 1/4 cup butter 1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix 1/2 cup white wine 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup 4 ounces cream cheese with chives 1 pound angel hair pasta Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in the package of dressing mix. Blend in wine and golden mushroom soup. Mix in cream cheese, and stir until smooth. Heat through, but do not boil. Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour sauce over. Bake for 60 minutes in the preheated oven. Twenty minutes before the chicken is done, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Cook pasta until al dente, about 5 minutes. Drain. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta.

Q: I need a chocolate recipe for Valentines Day?
I want to make a chocolate dessert in these small heart pans i bought. They are about 6 inches from top to bottom. I liked this recipe I've seen for something I think called "molten lava cake" ??!!?? No clue if thats the name or not, but when you cut into the small cake it oozes out with fudge. Any recipes like that would be great!

A: Try the recipe for Chocolate Eruption cake at the Dove brand website. Take a look at the picture and see if this is what you were looking for. This is a fairly easy recipe and cooking time is just a maximum 9 minutes! Simply substitue your heart pans for the ramekins and adjust baking time accordingly (I'd recommend 7 minutes, turn, then bake 5 more). Make sure you don't overcook as this will reduce the amount of oozing "lava." Yum!!! Dove's Dark chocolate is an excellent quality chocolate, too. I hope you enjoy this. P.S. A nice variation is to serve it with whipped cream and fresh strawberries or raspberries. Garnish with a sprig of mint :)
