Q: Pork chop recipes?
I have two pork chops left that I want to cook before they go bad. I've been browsing for good recipes for pork chops, but all I find are ones that either need ingredients that I currently don't have or require me to brown them in a skillet. I'm feeling lazy today and I don't want to brown them in a skillet. So does anyone have some tasty pork chop recipes that don't all for browning? Thanks! The pork chops are boneless, by the way :p And no, they're not thick :)

A: Here is what I do: Take two pieces of aluminum foil and put a little olive oil in the bottom of it. Fold up the sides so it can hold liquid. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. If you have juice in your fridge (apple or orange works best), pour in about 5 tbs to 1/4 of a cup (depending on how large your pork chops are) and then add some onion, a Little salt and pepper to taste and some garlic. Bake in your oven until done. Cook times vary depending on how well your oven works. Serve it up with some mashed potatoes and you have yourself a brown free pork chop meal!!!!

Q: Spare rib pork chop recipes?
I like spare rib pork chops but always seem to cook them the same way. Therefore I am looking for other ways. Being diabetic, sugar is out of the question but any other suggestions would be gratefully received!

A: Smothered Chops: 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons onion powder 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 teaspoon cayenne 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 4 spare rib chops 1/4 cup olive oil 1 cup chicken broth 1/2 cup buttermilk Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, for garnish Put the flour in a shallow platter and add the onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper; mix with a fork to distribute evenly. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove any moisture and then dredge them in the seasoned flour; shaking off the excess. Heat a large saute pan or cast iron skillet over medium heat and coat with the oil. When the oil is nice and hot, lay the pork chops in the pan in a single layer and fry for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the pan and add a little sprinkle of seasoned flour to the pan drippings. Mix the flour into the fat to dissolve and then pour in the chicken broth in. Let the liquid cook down for 5 minutes to reduce and thicken slightly. Stir in the buttermilk to make a creamy gravy and return the pork chops to the pan, covering them with the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes until the pork is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Apple Chops: 2 pounds pork chops 1 pound sauerkraut (rinsed) 3/4 cup onion, julienned 1 1/2 cups Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced 2 cups mild stock 1 cup white wine 2 tablespoons caraway seeds (optional) 1 tablespoon juniper berries Salt and pepper 1 tablespoon oil for cooking Heat the oil in a large heavy pot. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Sear the pork chops on both sides, remove from the pot and set aside. Add the apples and onions to the pot and cook for 5 minutes. Add the wine, kraut, caraway seeds, and the juniper berries, cooking for 2 minutes. Add the stock, and the pork ribs, bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasonings. Tastes great with whole grain mustard.

Q: Oven bbq pork chop recipes?
I want to make BBQ pork chops for dinner but need to have a oven baked recipes that can cook while I take my son to practice. Help please!

A: I'm a pretty decent southern cook, but when it comes to baking pork chops, I just can't seem to "hit it right".......I usually take & use Shake n Bake bbq for pork & then slow cook in a roasting bag with about 1/2 cup beer. Cook on about 275 - 300 for a couple of hours. The last 20 - 30 minutes, you can add chopped sweet potatos & sliced apples. Serve with stuffing & a nice garlic roll.........Yummy & pretty easy too!

Q: Thin cut center pork chop recipes?
We are having pork chops for dinner tonight and I'm tired of simply frying or baking them. Does anyone have suggestions on how to jazz them up. (I'll try baking or frying with new suggestions)

A: last night we had those kind of pork chops. I browned them in skillet and seasoned them then put them in casserole dish. I made brown gravy and poured on top of the pork chops with some onions and bell pepper and stuck them in the oven on 350 degrees until they were done. They were really good. Hope this helps.

Q: Does anyone have any simple pork chop recipes?
I have limited resources for cooking, so I need something easy and *simple* (preferably completely pan-fried). I only have garlic powder, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and some other random Asian ingredients to work with (no herbs). I do NOT have flour, panko crumbs, or anything of a baking nature because I don't really bake.

A: Simply salt-n-pepper your pork chops, sprinkle some garlic powder and pan-sear on each side til golden. Honestly, pork is so flavorful, this is truly all you need.

Q: I need some good pork chop recipes?

A: Toss cut, tart baking apples with a tbsp of flour and brown sugar to taste. Place in greased casserole. Bread porkchops (use seasoned bread crumbs, cornflakes, ground flax, Shake-n-bake... whatever you usually use) and place on top. Cook for about 30 minutes at 350 or until pork chops are done. This is sooo good and the chops come out nice and moist. Just scoop out the apples to put on top. Good with mashed potatoes. =)

Q: Anybody have any good pork chop recipes or give me some different ideas how to prepare and cook them?

A: I like to fry them in olive oil, using bread crumbs as the breading. You put all the seasonings you care to use in the bread crumb mix. It's good and alot healthier than frying with vegetable oil.

Q: Know any good Pork Chop recipes?
Besides just baking them? And no applesauce I don't like it on there. Cheese would be horrible on pork chops. I hate cheese.

A: pound the chops first, with a meat tenderizer, until there flat as a pancake. dip in eggs and milk mixture , then plain bread crumbs, cook in the pan with a little olive oil,, and sprinkle alitte lemon on it, side of mashed potatoes, This is what I call weiner schnitzel,,,,,,

Then sear both sides to lock in flavor...it should leave kinda burnt stuff on the bottom its the seasonings. 3)Put the pork chop in a pan with a roasting rack 4)Take Dr. Pepper and pour in the skillet to get the stuff out and pour over the pork chops all of it. 5)Roast the porkchops til they are done....they will be so juicy.

Q: Any good pork chop recipes?
Good morning, does anybody have a yummy pork chop recipe? I bought a whole bunch because it is cheaper to buy in bulk lol. Well, I only use soy sauce or teriyaki and throw in some veggies, but I would like to try something new. Thanks in advance!

A: Chinese Pork Chops 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 6 boneless pork chops DIRECTIONS In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, vegetable oil, ginger, and garlic powder. Set aside some of the mixture in a separate bowl for marinating during cooking. Pierce the pork chops on both sides with a fork, place in a large resealable plastic bag, and cover with the remaining marinade mixture. Refrigerate 6 to 8 hours. Preheat the grill for high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate. Discard marinade, and grill pork chops 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness, marinating often with the reserved portion of the marinade. Fennel Pork Chops 4 pork chops 2 tablespoons garlic salt 1 tablespoon fennel seed 1 cup white wine DIRECTIONS Sprinkle garlic salt on both sides of the pork chops. The garlic salt should pretty well cover the chops. Pour a little olive oil or other cooking oil into a skillet. Put the pork chops in the frying pan and place fennel seeds on top of the pork chops. 10 to 15 fennel seeds per pork chop will probably do. Let the underside of the pork chop brown then turn over. Once both sides are browned flip again. Pour the wine into frying pan; cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 10 minutes and flip the pork chops over. Cover them again and let them simmer for another 10 minutes. Make sure the wine doesn't completely evaporate or the pork chops will burn. You may have to add a little more wine to the pan. Apricot Chops 1 tablespoon olive oil 4 (1 inch thick) bone-in pork chops salt and pepper to taste 1 cup apricot jam 1 cup Catalina salad dressing 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix 1 garlic clove, crushed DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Heat oil in frying pan over medium-high heat. Season pork chops with salt and pepper; cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until well-browned. Stir jam, salad dressing, onion soup mix, and garlic together in a bowl until well-blended. Place chops in a 9x13 inch baking pan lined with foil, and cover with apricot mixture. Bake in preheated oven approximately 40 minutes, until internal temperature has reached 160 degrees F (70 degrees C), or pork is no longer pink in the center.

Q: I need some AMAZING pork chop recipes that are FULL of flavor for supper tonight.?
I am going to the store tonight so I can pick up pretty much anything. Something great but not TO hard. I love to cook and do pretty well at it so a little challenge is ok.

A: This is my families favorite way to eat pork chops. I salt and pepper my chops then lay them in a baking pan. I make Stove Top Stuffing( we like chicken flavor the best. it goes well with the pork) I pile the stuffing on top of the chops and bake. One box covers 4 chops. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. It is so good because the chops are moist and the dressing is crispy on top and moist in the middle. I serve green beans and potatoes(together) and applesauce with this. It is a huge hit! We also like to fry the pork chops. I dredge them in a flour, salt and pepper mixture and fry in a little bit of oil until brown. Yummy!! Not healthy but good!

Q: What is a good pork chop recipe?
Pork chops are my favorite and it seems I make them the same way all the time. Any good recipes out there?

A: Stuffed Pork Chops with Beer-Glazed Onions Ingredients: 4 bone-in rib pork chops (1 1/2-inches thick) 4 slices hickory smoked or peppered bacon 4 ounces Fontina or white Cheddar cheese, grated (1 cup) salt and pepper Beer-glazed Onions, for stuffing (recipe follows) Preparation: Cook bacon in skillet or on griddle over medium high heat until crispy. Drain bacon on paper towels, crumble and add to onion mixture. Stir in cheese, set aside. Prepare pork chops for stuffing by inserting sharp paring or boning knife through side of each chop until tip touches bone. Carefully cut opening to width of about 1 inch. Swing knife tip through chop to create pocket, being careful not to widen opening. Turn knife and swing blade in opposite direction to make finished pocket as large as possible. Divide onion mixture among 4 chops (about 1/4 cup stuffing for each). Carefully stuff the mixture into the center of each chop. Season both sides of chops with salt and pepper. Preheat grill to 400 to 450 degrees F. Spray chops lightly with cooking spray, place on hot grill. Cover; cook for 8 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F using an instant-read thermometer. Remove from grill, cover with foil and let rest for 5 minutes. Beer-glazed Onions Ingredients: 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped (about 1 cup) 1 tablespoon oil 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1/3 cup beer Preparation: In medium skillet, cook and stir onion in oil until onion is translucent, about 7 minutes. Stir in brown sugar, cook for 2 minutes to caramelize. Stir in beer, simmer for 5 minutes or until there is no liquid. Remove from heat, cool slightly.
