Blend all ingredients by hand. Shape into 6 oz balls. Shape into patties about 4-1/2 inches in diameter by 3/4 inch thick. 2. Press the center of the pattie down to about 1/2 inch to make a depression in the middle. 3. Cook on medium hot fire to sear the surface quickly. If you have a high rack move burgers to it to bake out the interior. If not use indirect heat at one end of the grill. 4. GRAVY FOR BURGERS: Make a gravy from 1 package dry turkey gravy according to directions. Saute some mushrooms in butter and minced onion. Add about 1 tablespoon white wine for extra flavor. Add to gravy and pour over burger. Serve with cranberry relish, sweet potatoes and a vegetable.

A: I must tell you - My aunt cooks only turkey meat (instead of ground beef) When she makes turkey burgers she puts 1 lb. of ground turkey 1/2 cup of grape nuts cereal(put in blender first to make them very very fine), 1 pkg of french onion soup mix (powder packet) and some pepper. Those burgers will be so good - You can grill them , fry them, however you choose they are sooooo good and full of protein and fiber.

Salsa Verde Turkey Burger 1 avocado, halved and pitted 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 clove garlic, finely chopped Salt 1 pound ground turkey thigh meat 1/2 cup salsa verde 4 slices pepper Jack cheese (about 4 ounces) 4 kaiser rolls, split 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, coarsely chopped 2 small green or red tomatoes, sliced Scoop the avocado flesh into a small bowl. A: This is easy and one of my favorites but I don't have a traditional recipe format for it. for about 1-1 1/2 lbs grd turkey-brown the turkey in a skillet until cooked through seasonning to your preferred taste. I usually add salt, pepper and garlic and sometimes poultry seasoning. Add to skillet a can of cream of mushroom soup(or whatever cream soup variety you like) and add about 1/2 can milk.and continue stirring blending milk and soup with turkey until it all comes together. you can add more milk as needed. Stir contents and simmer until heated through making a gravy consistency. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. You can also do this with ground chicken or beef and sometimes I add mushrooms if I have them on hand.

A: Avocado goes excellent with turkey burgers. How about a southwest type salad? black beans, corn, cubes of avocado, red or green bell peppers, maybe a little bit of chopped jalapeno, red or purple onion, a squeeze of lime juice, garlic, chili powder, cilantro You could make a quick guacamole and serve it with cut up fresh veggies or tortilla chips, or even put it on the burger itself. Mash up the avocado with chili powder, a little garlic powder, sour cream, etc. It's good mashed up with canned white beans, too. Yum, yum!
